June 11, 2012 – 1 Samuel 2

Verse 9 – “not by strength does man prevail”.  What a Scripture to meditate on.  How often does the world look at only the strength or power of a man.  How often do we see men of great power fall, people that think themselves invulnerable falter, great towers topple.  When you rely on your own strength you are placing your foundation on sand.  Our strength needs to be in God.  Only then is our foundation rock and something that we can build on.
