May 1, 2013 – 2 Kings 14

I might not be remembering it correctly, but this seems like the first war between Israel and Judah since they were split.  After they divided there seemed to be some battles until they decided who the kings of each would be, but since then, they seem to actually team up more than fight.

We also see that Judah takes control of Jerusalem, but it doesn’t seem to last very long because just after that it appears that Jerusalem is back under Israel control.
