May 28, 2013 – Catechism 2401 – 2406

Have you ever thought of yourself as a “Steward of Providence”.  I think that basically means that everything we have, have had, will ever have, is a gift from God that we are supposed to use for the benefit of God’s work.  That means everything.  Money, job, gizmos, friends, talents, virginity, characteristics, everything.  Everything we have has been given to us by God and not for eternity, but on loan, while we are here on Earth, to use for His work.  How much would people change the way they live and use their gifts if they looked at it that way.  How much do I need to think about that more when I think about all that God has given me.
